To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, what steps he is taking to ensure the composition of the Parades Commission reflects Northern Ireland society.

All appointments to the Parades Commission for Northern Ireland are regulated by the Commissioner for Public Appointments and are made following an open and transparent process in line with the Government’s Governance Code on Public Appointments. A central tenet of the public appointments process is that applications are encouraged from all sections of Northern Ireland society.
