To ask the Secretary of State for Education, with reference to her Department's report of December 2017, Careers strategy: making the most of everyone’s skills and talents, what plans she has to integrate the functions of the National Careers Service into the activities of the Careers and Enterprise Company.

The Careers & Enterprise Company (CEC) and the National Careers Service will play important but distinct roles in delivering the governmentâs careers strategy.
The CEC will continue to co-ordinate support for schools and colleges, taking on an expanded role across all eight Gatsby career benchmarks which set out the components of good careers guidance.
The National Careers Service will continue to be the single service that provides careers information, advice and guidance for adults in England. This will be delivered via three channels: a website, a National Contact Centre and area-based contactors. We are in the process of reprocuring the area-based service and the new contracts will be in place by October 2018.
