To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether he plans to implement the recommendation of the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse's Child Migration Programmes Report on establishing a compensation fund for former child migrants.

Successive Governments have accepted that the policy of child migration was misguided and deeply flawed.
The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse published its Report on the Child Migration Programmes on 1 March. We are considering the content of this report and will provide a formal response in due course.
