Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will make an assessment of the implications for his Department's policies of the recommendations of the Nuffield Trust report International comparisons of health and wellbeing in early childhood, published in March 2018.

Answer

We welcome the findings of this report, which acknowledges the genuine progress that England has made in many areas in recent years. We are committed to giving children the best start in life, and we will look closely at the report’s recommendations.
