To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what discussions he has had with the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government on the financial effect of the increase in the cost of prescribing buprenorphine on the provision of substance misuse services.

The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care regularly meets with Cabinet colleagues to discuss a range of topics. The Government has committed £16 billion in funding to local authorities over the current five-year spending review period to tackle public health issues, which includes alcohol and drug treatment services, and there are no plans to increase funding further at this time.
