To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what recent discussions he has had with his Italian counterpart on that country's potential involvement with China's Belt and Road Initiative.

The UK Government has discussed Italy’s potential involvement with China’s Belt and Road Initiative at official level with Italian counterparts. As part of our future relationship, the UK is committed to working closely with Italy and other international partners on China.
