Psychiatric Nurses
- Question
-
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what the average turnover rate is for community psychiatric nurses.
- Answer
-
NHS Digital publishes workforce statistics. Community Psychiatry Nurses have a stability index of 82.2%
The Stability Index is the percentage of staff there are at the start of the period that do not leave the specified group (e.g. organisation, staff group or the National Health Service in England) during period in question.
For example, if a trust had 100 nurses in July and a year later 90 of those nurses remained in post, the trust’s Stability Index would be expressed as 90%.
