Tixagevimab/cilgavimab

Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what recent estimate he has made of when the UK Health Security Agency testing for Evusheld will be completed.

Original answer: AstraZeneca commissioned the UK Health Strategic Authority (UKHSA) to test the effectiveness of Evusheld against the Omicron variants. Initial data has been shared with AstraZeneca and testing continues for the Omicron variant BA.4. The timing of the results are dependent on a number of factors and we are currently unable to confirm when it will be available. After reviewing the data, AstraZeneca will determine whether to commission further testing.

It has since been corrected.
