Nitrous Oxide: Misuse

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether he is taking steps to provide addiction support for nitrous oxide users.

Answer

To support the aims of its 10-year drug strategy, the Government is providing £532 million of additional funding to local authorities to increase provision and to improve the quality of substance misuse services.

Local authorities are responsible for commissioning drug treatment services to meet the needs of their population, this includes any treatment that may be required for nitrous oxide.
