To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how much was spent by NHS trusts in England on off-framework agencies in financial year (a) 2021-22 and (b) 2022-23.

Off-framework agency spend for 2021/22 was £179.8 million. 2022/23 agency spend data is not yet finalised and will be validated in due course.
