Prisons: Drugs
- Question
-
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what recent discussions he has had with HM Prison Service on intelligence operations to disrupt the supply of drugs.
- Answer
-
Disrupting the supply of drugs into prisons is a key priority and we recognise that the harm that drugs and other illicit substances can create, destabilising the prison regime, fuelling violence and undermining our efforts to rehabilitate prisoners.
We have regular conversations on supply disruption.
