-
The Foreign Secretary is in regular contact with the French Foreign Minister, including on UK-French cooperation in Africa. UK officials have been in contact with French counterparts in Libreville, Paris and London. The UK and French Governments, alongside the UN, African Union and others, have condemned the military takeover in Gabon. We call for the restoration of constitutional government.
