Lebanon: Humanitarian Aid

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, with reference to her Department’s press release entitled New UK Aid for displaced people in Lebanon as Minister visits Beirut, published on 16 April 2026, what criteria his Department will use to measure the impact of this funding on improving living conditions for displaced people.

Answer

I refer the Hon Member to the press release he mentions in his questions, which sets out details of the support being provided. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and our partners have robust processes in place to ensure we maximise the impact of our humanitarian funding and mitigate any risks.
