Local Plans: Surrey

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what steps he is taking to support local authorities in Surrey to (a) develop and (b) adopt local plans.

Answer

In 2025-26, the government provided over £15 million through the Local Plan Implementation Fund to support local planning authorities with plan-making. This included eight local authorities in Surrey who each received £108,474.57.
