Fly-tipping: Slough

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what recent discussions he has had with (a) Slough Borough Council and (b) the Environment Agency on tackling fly-tipping in Slough constituency.

Defra has not held any discussions with either Slough Borough Council or the Environment Agency (EA) on tackling fly-tipping in Slough.
The EA liaised with Slough Borough Council, as the owners of the land, when waste was tipped by organised criminals on the site beside Stoke Road and the Slough Arm of the Grand Union Canal.
Local authorities are responsible for clearing litter and refuse from their land.
