Commonwealth: G20

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, If she will have discussions with her Cabinet Colleagues on the merits of inviting the Secretary General of the Commonwealth to be an associate member of the G20 when the United Kingdom assumes the Chair in January 2027.

Answer

Plans for the UK's G20 Presidency in 2027 will be announced in the normal way in due course, including any decisions on guest attendance.
