HM Coastguard

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the answer of 29 June 2026 to Question 12027 on HM Coastguard, what assessment he has made of the potential merits of amending legislation to facilitate continued allowances for the Coastguard Rescue Service, including using a Legislative Reform Order.

Holding answer

The Department for Transport has indicated that it will not be possible to answer this question within the usual time period. An answer is being prepared and will be provided as soon as it is available.
