To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what estimate has been made of the total cost of returning MoD Barnham to its previous condition following the conclusion of its use as asylum accommodation; and which department will cover that cost.

The Government is considering whether to sue MoD Barnham for asylum accommodation. No final decision has been taken.
If the site is taken forward, any activity provision, including where it would be delivered, would be considered as part of the operating model and ongoing suitability assessments.
