Sports: Finance
- Question
-
To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, how much funding Sports England has provided to Development Sports; and what estimate has been made of how many people will use this programme.
- Answer
-
The Sport for Development Coalition received Sport England National Lottery funding between March 2022 and December 2025 totalling £773,334.
Rather than delivering programmes itself, the Coalition acts as the collective voice for the sport-for-development sector. As a result, it is not possible to quantify direct programme participation or user numbers attributable to the Coalition itself.
