To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what funding she will make available for flood defences in each of the next five years for (a) Castle Point constituency and (b) Essex.

The Environment agency is currently in the early stages of the funding allocation process, with funding allocations to be confirmed in 2027 for the following financial years.
