Department for Transport: Remote Working

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what is the percentage office workplace attendance requirement in each of the department’s offices, broken down by location; and whether attendance statistics are collated for each of those individual offices.

Answer

Staff are expected, unless otherwise agreed as a contractual variation or a temporary exception, to attend their principal workplace for a minimum of 60% of their working time each month. This requirement applies across the Department's offices, although some roles may require higher levels of workplace attendance.

Attendance data is collated and monitored at individual office level.
