GDS continuously reviews published digital and technology guidance, in recognition of the fast-moving environment in which we operate in. As recently as May 2026, we provided updated guidance on be open and use open source, which is available on gov.uk: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/ai-open-code-and-vulnerability-risk-in-the-public-sector
