To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment his Department has made of the potential merits of nationally setting and maintaining service specification and national tariff for GOS.

General Ophthalmic Services are already a nationally mandated services defined in legislation, with nationally defined contractor fees set out in Directions.
