Immigration: EU Nationals

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to table EUSS_D01 published as part of the release entitled Immigration system statistics, year ending March 2026, how many applications to the EU Settlement Scheme were made by applicants who did not hold any existing EU Settlement Scheme status at the time of application, in each year ending March from the year ending March 2022 to the year ending March 2026.

Answer

The Home Office publishes information on Settlement in the Immigration system statistics quarterly release - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk), EU Settlement Scheme data tables.

Information on how many applications were made by joining family members, by application date is available from EUSS_POST_30_JUNE Table 1, which can be found within the EUSS summary tables.

The department does not routinely produce official statistics on EUSS applications by date of application made where no previous application had been made.
