Independent Anti-slavery Commissioner: Public Appointments

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what steps her Department is taking to ensure that the role of Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner is filled in December.

Answer

In line with the requirements of the Governance Code on Public Appointments, the Department is following usual processes associated with public appointments in preparation for the current Commissioner's term ending in December.
