Question: To ask Her Majesty’s Government what percentage of pupils in (1) sponsored academies, and (2) maintained schools, take a GCSE in (a) a qualifying language, and (b) a qualifying humanities subject.

The percentage of pupils who took a GCSE in a qualifying language or humanities subject in 2013/14 is given below:
