To ask Her Majesty’s Government, further to the Written Answer by Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon on 1 November (HL2428), how many applications they have received since May 2015 from local highways authorities to extend their enforcement powers.

The Department for Transport receives applications from local authorities outside London wishing to take on civil parking enforcement functions. We have received 2 applications since May 2015.
