Social Services: Fees and Charges

Question

To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they intend to bring into effect the provisions in the Care Act 2014 for capping individual liability for meeting the costs of adult social care; and if so, when.

Answer

The Government remains committed to introducing a cap on care costs and extension of means-tested support, which will be implemented from April 2020.
