To ask Her Majesty's Government what steps they are taking to encourage the protection of the historical and archaeological diversity of East Jerusalem; and what assessment they have made of the current excavations supported by the government of Israel which are reportedly being used to create fake Jewish tombs around the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

While we have not made any assessment on this issue, we are strongly opposed to any attempts to change the facts on the ground in East Jerusalem.
