Question: To ask Her Majesty's Government whether uncertainty over the future of OneWeb will affect plans to develop a UK alternative to the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service.

Answer: The status of OneWeb does not affect the Government’s research and development programme for a potential UK Space Based Augmentation System (SBAS).
