Sudan: Armed Conflict
- Question
-
To ask His Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the risks to the civilian population of El Obeid referred to in their joint statement with the E4+ on 23 June.
- Answer
-
I refer the Noble Lord to the answers I provided on 24 June in the Private Notice Question debate on the crisis in El Obeid, and I stress again that - alongside our international partners - the UK is doing everything that we believe will make a difference on the ground, to prevent the mass loss of civilian life that we all fear.
