Forest Carbon Partnership Facility: Loans

To ask His Majesty's Government whether any funding provided to the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility - Carbon Fund will be provided in the form of loans rather than grants; and, if so, what the terms of the loans will be.

To date, the UK has invested £141.5m in the World Bank-managed Forest Carbon Partnership Facility – Carbon Fund (£11.5m in 2011; £45m in 2014; and £85m in 2015). This has been in the form of grants (CDEL). No further funding to the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility – Carbon Fund is planned.
