To ask His Majesty's Government what steps they are taking to improve real-time communications with passengers at periods of significant service outage on the East Coast Mainline.

LNER has been developing AI and data proof of concepts to provide improved live disruption updates to customers. If successful, the plan is to begin building the tools for customers from Summer 2026.
