To ask His Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the number of unsold properties in the UK and the current length of time taken to sell a home.

My Department does not collect data on the length of residential transaction times. We collect data on the number of residential property transactions but do not measure the number of unsold properties in the UK. We closely monitor industry data on these issues as part of our policymaking process.
