Alcoholic Drinks: Prices

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when she plans to launch the consultation on the level at which a minimum unit price for alcohol should be set in England and Wales.

The Alcohol Strategy, published earlier this year, set out the Government's commitment to introduce a minimum unit price for alcohol. The Government will consult on this, and a number of other proposals in the strategy, this autumn.
