Health Education: Sex

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Education what advice his Department has received on changes to the way sex education might be taught following the legalisation of gay marriage in England and Wales.

Answer

The Department is working with the Government Equalities Office to examine the impact of equal civil marriage on education policy. We will continue to monitor the situation as these proposals are developed.
