To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what assessment she has made of the cost effectiveness of her Department's recent immigration status checks in Stratford.

The timing of the operation was between 0800 to 1000 hrs during which two arrests for immigration offences were made with limited impact on the department's resources.
