Illegal Immigrants
- Question
-
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what recent estimate she has made of the number of illegal migrants currently in the UK.

-
[holding answer 9 December 2013]: Government estimates on the number of illegal migrants currently in the UK are not available. Given the clandestine nature of illegal migrants, any estimation is extremely difficult and there would be considerable uncertainty around any estimates.
