Prosecutions
- Question
-
To ask the Attorney-General how many bankers have been prosecuted by the (a) Serious Fraud Office and (b) Crown Prosecution Service for financial crimes in each of the last six years.
- Answer
-
The Crown Prosecution Service and the Serious Fraud Office do not maintain central records on the occupation of defendants. Such information could be obtained only through a manual search of records which would incur a disproportionate cost.
