Proceeding contribution from Karl Turner (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 21 March 2017. It occurred during Debate on Stoke-on-Trent City of Culture 2021.

Stoke-on-Trent City of Culture 2021

As one of three Members who represent the current city of culture, I congratulate my hon. Friend on securing the debate and wish her and her city very well. There is something to say about legacy. In our few short months as the city of culture, we have already seen that things are changing; there is a spring in the air, people are

happy and money is being spent. Investment is coming into the city, which is very important for the legacy. I wish my hon. Friend well.
