Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

To ask Her Majesty’s Government why they are yet to make a decision on an uprated level of asylum support under Sections 4 and 95 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 for the year 2012–13.[HL4402]
- Answer

There is no statutory obligation to carry out an annual review, or make an annual announcement. There are no current plans to change asylum support rates. However, we will continue to keep them under review.
