To ask Her Majesty’s Government how they ensure that the board of the BBC Trust has adequate business experience.[HL5906]

Appointments to the board of the BBC Trust are made on merit against a publicised role specification which meets the skills and experience requirements of the board, under an open and transparent process which is regulated by the Commissioner for Public Appointments.
