The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has not previously had a facility to disaggregate the Early Guilty Plea data by principal offence category. A new automated process has now been developed and data will be published once the accuracy and reliability of the data has been established.
The data will not disaggregate the outcome of individual offences but will provide data on the principal offence category.
