This is accessible on a range of devices using formats such as text, graphics, comparison tables and downloadable leaflets. The website is in English and there are no plans at present to translate the information into other languages.

Since March 2020, Public Health England has translated key public guidance on COVID-19 in multiple languages including Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (traditional), Chinese (simplified), French, Gujarati, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi and Urdu. These include shielding guidance in Bulgarian, Hindi and Nepali. Examples of guidance documents that have been translated are available at the following links:

Public Health England has published translations of updated core public health guidance into the 10 most commonly spoken languages (other than English) in the United Kingdom. This information has been translated into the following languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese: simplified, Chinese: traditional, French, Gujarati, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Urdu.

Resources for COVID-19 are currently available in nine other languages to ensure that support and advice can be given to non-English speakers. These languages are Polish, Welsh, Arabic (Modern), French, Simplified Chinese (Mandarin), Traditional Chinese (Cantonese), Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, and Portuguese.

These are the critical pieces of guidance that are relevant to a general public audience.

As part of the Government's work to ensure the population are informed about COVID-19 and how best to respond, work is ongoing to translate the stay at home guidance for households with possible coronavirus (COVID-19) and the guidance on social distancing for everyone in the United Kingdom and protecting older people and vulnerable adults (COVID-19) into a range of languages. These are the critical pieces of guidance that are relevant to a general public audience.
