Whether press reports that salmon poachers have created a "60 mile chain of nets" across strait between Northern Ireland & Scotland accord with HMGs own information &, if so, what steps HMG are taking to ensure regular removal of any such "chain of nets" & whose responsibility it is to ensure that these waters are kept clear for returning salmon; & whether HMG have identified any of fishing vessels engaged in industrialised salmon poaching & what steps are being taken to stamp out this practice.
