Mr. Gerald Howarth: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many gallantry medals were awarded to members of Her Majesty's Forces serving in (a) the Falklands war, (b) the Gulf war and (c) peacekeeping operations in former Yugoslavia; and if he will list the class of gallantry medals awarded. [45394] Mr. George Robertson: Awards for gallantry are published in the London Gazette, copies of which are placed automatically in the Library of the House. The first three levels of gallantry awards are recognised by the granting of a medal, and are as follows: _________________________________________________________________________________________________.
