To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what statistical information his Department holds on small- and medium-sized enterprises which have defaulted on a loan received through the Funding for Lending Scheme.
The Bank of England does not lend directly to small and medium sized enterprises as part of the Funding for Lending Scheme (FLS). Under the FLS, the Bank of England provides funding to UK banks and building societies participating in the scheme. The amount of funding participant banks and building societies are eligible to borrow from the Bank of England is determined by their net lending to certain sectors of the economy.

The Cabinet Office will be working with the Office for National Statistics to consider ways to improve data collection capability, including potential legislative options.

Information on the derivation of National Lottery Good Cause income by region is not currently collected by Government.
National Lottery good cause money is allocated by expert bodies at arm’s length from Government and information can be found on the National Lottery Grants Database at the following link (http://www.lottery.culture.gov.uk); and from Lottery Distributors’ own websites.

Let me say something surprising: we talk to each other in this Government! The Cabinet actually gets round the table and has meetings. We discuss things, we agree, and then we move forward—the Labour party should try it.
The Office for National Statistics is independent, but Britain is doing its bit by taking 20,000 refugees from the Syrian refugee camps. We have always provided a home for genuine asylum seekers.

On 7 September, the Prime Minister told me that he could not remove refugees from the migration target because of the requirements of the Office for National Statistics, but I wrote to the ONS and it told me that in fact this would be possible. Can the Chancellor therefore demonstrate that Britain will do its bit and remove refugees from the migration target?

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, pursuant to the Answer of 24 November 2015 to Question 16958, when the process of quality assuring his Department's data on universal credit will be complete; and when he will set out which statistics on universal credit will be published...
The Department published a statistics release strategy for Universal Credit in September 2013 (available at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/universal-credit-statistics-background-information/universal-credit-statistics-background-information).
Official statistics on Universal Credit have been published on a monthly basis since December 2013. The range of statistics published has increased as quality assurance has been carried out. This process will continue on a wider range of breakdowns and Departmental statisticians anticipate being able to start releasing these, in accordance with the relevant protocols in the Code of Practice for Official Statistics, during 2016.
The Department will review and update the statistics release strategy in 2016.
