That this House congratulates the Campaign for Freedom of Information for the publication of its report, The Environmental Information Regulations and THORP, which details how Government bodies are breaking the law under the Environmental Information Regulations 1992 by failing to release information about the environmental impact of THORP; calls upon British Nuclear Fuels Ltd., the Health and Safety Executive and the Radioactive Waste Management Advisory Committee to publish the information immediately on the grounds of their public responsibilities for the environment; and further suggests that the only way for Her Majesty's Government to prove it really believes in open government would be to announce an immediate public assessment of all such secret material relating to THORP.
