The following table shows data from the court proceedings database held by the Office for Criminal Justice Reform on the number of prosecutions for offences connected with pedal cycles.

The three offences with the most offenders proceeded against are:
(a) Riding on footpath.
(b) Taking or riding a pedal cycle without consent etc.
(c) Lighting and reflector offences.
