We are concerned by the report from Christian Solidarity Worldwide about the arrest and interrogation of eight Christians on 5 March 2014; and by the treatment of religious minorities in Iran, in particular Christian groups and the Baha'i. We have expressed these concerns to the Iranian authorities, and call on them to release anyone detained on the grounds of religious belief, and to ensure that the fundamental rights of all Iranian citizens are fully respected.
